what? christianity?</i>

1._ In Europe they wrote the carta magna of EU, where they didn't make any reference to Christianity as one of the main roots of the history of that old continent. Just a plain reference to "cultural, religious and humanist heritages".

Here in Chile (pressumably also in Argentina, Mexico, and other latin-american countries) this fact motivated some controversy. did Europeans deny and apostatize from their trascendental origins? some says that not, they just emphasize about the diversity of beliefs that live together harmoniously in Europe. The carta magna is written to the present and future of the Union, not to the past.

and certainly religion, and specially Christianity with Catholicism, had lost its influence and importance in the land of Spanish, Dutch, British, Portuguese, etc. All of them, conquerors of the New World, and all of them, in the past stolen the lands of the primitive Americans, and razed with these.

but surely, the actual scenario is quantitatively different than five hundred years ago. or not?

2._ The saturday 24th of July, at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Santiago de Chile 2._ a priest was murdered. he was stabbed by a young man who wore black clothes.this incident incited national conmotion. the guy who killed was linked with the "gothic" and "dark" movement and the investigators discovered that he belongs to a "satanic group".

is dangerous the free cult? was right the murder of the priest? did the priest deserve finnish his life as the way he did? what  would you  do with the young guy? if the murdered were your brother or son what would you do?

3._ Is Christianity a bad ideology or just an imperfect ideology?
... based on true events
